The Future of Body Cameras In Sports Broadcasting Documentary
This documentary explores the future of body cameras in sport broadcasting, examining their impact on the viewer experience, athlete performance, and overall sports coverage. Through expert interviews, technological demonstrations, and real-world testing, we showcase how this innovation is shaping the way fans engage with their favorite sports.
Project Challenges
Being a producer/director can be very difficult at times. One challenge that I had for this project was finding filming time that worked for all of the interviewees as well as all of the production crew who were involved in the production. The biggest challenge was that we had one key interviewee cancel on us with not much time to spare. This was a good test to see if I was able to adjust find a solution in a timely matter.
Purpose of the Project
The goal of this documentary is to educate audiences on the evolving role of body cameras in sports broadcasting. We aim to highlight both the opportunities and challenges they present, offering insights from both fans and athletes.

Problem the Project is Trying to Solve
Traditional camera angles often fail to fully capture the intensity and perspective of an athlete in action. By exploring body camera technology, we explain how this innovation could bring fans closer to the action and how it can provide a more immersive viewing experience for the viewers.
Development of the Project
The documentary evolved through multiple phases. The first phase was doing a ton of research. After that I was able to layout the vision and then from there we conducted the interviews and gathered a lot of broll footage that would be used to put together the documentary. I had a top tier editor working with me and he executed this documentary at an extremely high level.
